Production Services Offered by Media Services

Media Services, located in the New England Building, provides the following production services to the Vassar community.

Media Duplication

Storage media costs:
CD cost $3 each and DVDs cost $10 each.
Video: $10.00 for duplication onto 120-minute, extra-high-grade tape. Copyright approval necessary.
Audio: $3.00 for duplication onto 90-minute tape. Copyright approval necessary.
Consultation is available upon request.

Film to Video Transfer

Video Format Change

Transfer from one to another of the following formats: NTSC, PAL, SECAM, UMATIC, VHS: $10.00. Copyright approval necessary.

Blank Tapes

DVD: 4.7 GB:$5.
CD: 750MB: $3.
Video: 120-minute VHS: $5.
Audio: 90-minute tape: $5.
(Note: Save money by supplying your own media.)

Wide-Format Scanning

In the lower-level New England we house a scanner capable of scanning as wide as 36".

Helpdesk Locations and Hours

The CIS help desk is located in the Computer Center (CC).

The CIS Satellite Help Desk is located in the Main Library.
Our Library Help Desk Hours are:

	M-Th:	9 AM - 11 PM
	F:	9 AM - 5 PM
	Sa:	12 PM - 6 PM
	Su:	12 PM - 11 PM
