The Citrix Client is the desktop application that allows you to connect remotely to a MetaFrame server. The program is free to download from the following site:
http://www.citrix.com/site/SS/downloads/index.asp
Once there, click on the Clients link, and then select your operating system. Then, please follow these steps:
1. Select the item called MetaFrame Presentation Server Client Packager Version 8.X.
2. On the page that follows, scroll to the download versions list. Select the Version 8.1, English option.
3. A new, smaller window called "Citrix Download" will pop-up. Click on the Download Here link and save the installer file (ica32pkg.msi) on your desktop.
4. Close the two browser windows, and double-click on the ica32pkg.msi file.
5. The installer application starts up. Follow the directions and click Next. Then accept the license agreement and click Next.
6. On the Select Client window, unselect the first two items (Web Client and Program Neighborhood Agent), leaving only Program Neighborhood selected for installation. To do this, click once on the first two disk icons, and select the Entire feature will be unavailable item from the pull-down menu. Your screen should show two red crosses on those items, as shown below. When done, click Next.

7. Set Program Folder name (default selection is OK.) Click Next.
8. Leave the Use machine name as client name box checked.
9. Leave the default No in the question ìWould you like to use your local user name to log on to MetaFrame sessions from this computer?î After clicking Next, you will be shown the Installation Summary window. Click Next to start installation.

10. Setup will then install the files on your hard drive. When the installation is complete, click Finish.

11. Now you are ready to use the Citrix client to access applications on Meta04. To do this, please see the ìRunning Citrix to Access Applicationsî section of this document.
