Printing from within a Citrix Metaframe Client Software Session

From a public machine

If you are using Citrix access to statistical software on a public MAC, it is best select the Helpdesklaser from the drop down menu as your printer when printing.  See below:

Once you have printed, you can then pick up your print output from the Computer Center Help Desk Laser. 

Printouts are filed by day and kept for no more than 3 days beside the Help Desk printer.

From Personal Desktop and Laptops:

If you are printing from a printer that is directly connected to your machine, printing will not be a problem.

All other personal machines will automatically print to that User’s selected default printer.

If you use a Mac computer and your user account is called “Home” you will have difficulty printing to a network printer.  Please contact the Help Desk for assistance in how to change your settings to allow you to print via the network while using Citrix.
