The user must always exit the software window by using the File menu and selecting EXIT.
Clients are “bumped” at 4 hours of inactivity from the software
Upon each users first time log in, a “my documents” folder is created for that user id. This folder resides on the metastat server and can be accessed from within any software running on the Citrix Metaframe server.

For instance, if you save documents to “my documents” while logged in and using SPSS, you will be able to access these same documents when logged in during another session using SAS or JMP.
There is only 1 primary folder per user id on the Metastat
You navigate the Metastat server and the Vassar network via the Citrix window to access folders, documents, and data. The Citrix window mimics the standard Windows user interface and navigation in and around the Vassar network environment.

.
Almost as if you were working on a Windows machine directly in front of you, your Citrix Metaframe session allows you a variety of locations to which to save (and open) files on which you are working.
This means that you can access files located elsewhere on the Vassar network by navigating the Network Neighborhood.
The same is true in reverse when choosing to save a statistical file to a location other than your personal metastat folder.
The “My Desktop” is not the actual desktop of the physical machine, but the “desktop view” of the users personal Metaframe04 server space or “client window desktop” that is created for each user upon their first initial login to Metastat server

To access the files that come with the software program, use “Applications:N”

In addition to using the server and its associated network spaces to save or access files you can also:
