Client Installation Instructions

Before you proceed, you should try connecting to VApps by going to https://vapps.vassar.edu.  If you have problems connecting you may need to install the latest client or plug-in.  For help doing so, review the installation instructions below.

Windows Installation Instructions

  1. Click here to download “XenApp Plugin - Version 11.000” .
  2. The downloaded file is “XenAppWeb.msi”
  3. Double-click to start the installer

  4. You may get the following warning. If you do, click Run to continue the installation.

  5. On the Welcome screen, click Next.

  6. Select the first choice to agree to the license agreement and click Next.

  7. Click Next on the Installation Summary screen.

  8. Click Next. This step may take some time. Be patient and do not click cancel.

  9. Click FINISH on the final screen to complete the installation.

Mac Installation Instructions

The Mac OSX Citrix client setup

  1. Download the Mac Client here. Choose "Version 10.00.603 - Universal Binary” for OSX.
  2. The downloaded file is named “MacICA_OSX.dmg”
  3. Double-click on the installer.

  4. Click on the Citrix ICA Client icon to start the installation:

  5. Click Continue and you will see the license agreement screen:

  6. Click Agree then click Continue again.

  7. Click the hard disk you want the installation to take place on and click Continue:citrix
  8. Login with your user name and password and click OK to start the installation.

  9. The software has been successfully installed. Click Close.
