If you were one of the people who received a notification about conflicting accounts in the fall, then you renamed your existing @vassar.edu Google Account to email@example.com. This will walk you through getting the documents you need from the renamed account and uploading them into your new Vassar domain Google Account account.
Go to docs.google.com and login with your firstname.lastname@example.org login credentials.
Select the files you'd like to downoad. I've selected all items "Owned By Me".
Click Download on the Convert and Download screen.
If you have a lot of files, the download could take a few minutes. You can choose to be emailed when it's done.
Find the zip file on your computer.
Unzip the downloaded files by double clicking to extract the folder.
You can choose to keep these files local on your computer or upload them to VSpace. If you'd like to upload them to your @vassar.edu Google Apps domain account after the migration in July, go to docs.google.com and sign in using your Vassar user name and password. Please Note: You will not be able to do this until July 2nd.
Click the upload button and select files...
Select the files you'd like to upload. Please note, if you had COLLECTIONS they will appear as folders in this extracted folder and you will have to repeat the upload process for the files in each of those folders.
