file sharing:

"Filesharing" is when you share files between computers over the internet. There are many different ways to share or transfer files from one location to another including using Peer-to-peer software, File Transfer Protocol, WebDav and many others.

vspace.vassar.edu

In simple terms, Vspace allows you to share files over the Internet with others. When you store a file within your Vspace account, you can make it selectively available to be viewed, edited, deleted, or managed by other users.

Please note that Vspace is not intended to be a place where you permanently store files or a place where you back up your regularly used data. Instead, think of Vspace as a convenient place to put a file that you know you or someone else will want to access later from a different computer.

Go to vspace.vassar.edu and either login using your domain password or click "Help" on the first page for more information.
