Webmail
Vassar uses SquirrelMail, a standards-based webmail package that allows users to access their email through a web browser. It supports both the IMAP and SMTP protocols for mail and has many of the features offered in an email client including MIME support, address books and mail management options.
AskBanner
Ask Banner is a web based interface that provides faculty, students and staff convenient access to the information that they need most frequently such as the online campus directory, campus calendar, and academic information.
Banner Online
Banner Online provides campus users secure web access to the ir personal information and departmental budget reports.
Citrix Metaframe
Citrix MetaFrame or "Windows on the web" is a remote access/application publishing tool that allows all users, regardless of their platform (ie Mac. Linux or PC) to access centralized applications that are specific to the Microsoft Windows Operating System environment.
Blackboard
Blackboard is a course management software application that integrates online communication software with content development software permitting faculty members to create a flexible web environment to support teaching, learning, research and collaboration. Faculty can manage and share course materials including syllabi, text documents, and audio and video files. In addition, threaded discussions on multiple topics using the Discussion Board feature can be employed.
Vspace
Vspace is a web-based document management system that provides easy access to files from anywhere and allows users to control and share information and collaborate with others both on and off campus.
Controlpanel
Controlpanel is a web interface that allows users to set preferences in their email account including password resets, out of office messages, personal aliases and SPAM tagging. In addition users can view their usage quota.

As a member of the Vassar community, you can get your own webspace. GetWeb is a web interface that allows users to get their own personal web accounts or change their web account passwords if an account already exists for them. Once you have signed up for your account, you can look for your newly created space here. Assuming your name is Matthew Vassar with username mavassar and depending on your association, your account would be located at one of the following(replace mavassar with your web username):
