Connecting To Wireless On Campus

wireless

You will need the temporary password your received in the mail.  If you do not have this, you must go to the help desk in person, with your Vassar ID card to have it reset.  Click here for help desk hours and locations.

If you have your password, click here for information on connecting to the Student wireless.

There is no open wireless for family or guests to connect to.   Our GUEST SSID requires a temporary account to be set up at the help desk in person.  Click here for help desk hours and locations. If your family needs internet access while on campus without applying for a temporary account, they may use any of the public computers available on campus.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The campus network will not support personal WAPs (Wireless Access Points).  Our network will shut them down automatically but doing so uses valuable bandwidth and interferes with the wifi signal.  Please do not try try to operate individual WAPs on campus.

Google Mail and Calendar

GoogleWe transitioned to Google Mail from Zimbra on 7/2/2012.  If you missed those communications, you probably don't have access to your account.

First, you will need the temporary password your received from Vassar in the mail.  If you do not have this, you must go to the help desk in person, with your Vassar ID card to have it reset.  Click here for help desk hours and locations.
